The Government of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in collaboration with the Pacific Community (SPC) under the new Pacific European Union Marine Partnership Marine (PEUMP) will be hosting the Maritime Boundaries Delimitation Awareness Workshop. Participants in addition to the technical illustrations of maritime zone delimitations, will learn submissions of technical reports to the United Nation Division for Oceans Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS) to be able to have their maritime zones recognized internationally “enter into force” as in accordance to the United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). This meeting will be attended by representatives from the FSM government and national stakeholders from the National Oceanic Resource Management Authority, Attorney General’s Office, Department of Justice, Lands & Fisheries Department.
