The Pacific Regional Disaster and Emergency Managers Meeting 2024 will be held 8th-12th April at the Tanoa International Hotel, in Nadi, Fiji.

Disaster Managers and Emergency Service Managers are core constituents of three SPC projects : Pacific Islands' Emergency Management Alliance (PIEMA); Building Safety and Resilience in the Pacific II (BSRP II); and the Pacific Humanitarian Warehousing Project (PHWP).

By bringing these three project meeting together with the annual Regional Disaster Managers meeting (RDMM) and the Pacific Islands Fire and Emergency Services Association (PIFSA) meeting, it is hoped that this will achieve a more coordinated and economical approach to conducting regional disaster management meetings, and to serve as a platform for exchanging insights, experiences, and best practice amongst participants.
